067D1 Munster Suite @ Limerick H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Irish Impulse, trained by Robert Tyner, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jonny Mansie, trained by Declan Queally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost the left fore shoe and was otherwise post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.L. Queally, Authorised Representative for Declan Queally, trainer of Jonny Mansie and J.P. Kirwan rider, where it appeared that Johnny Mansie turned back when mounted and exiting the parade ring. Evidence was heard from D.L. Queally and from the rider concerned. D.L. Queally stated that he instructed the rider to be handy down at the start, but had not instructed him to turn back when mounted and exit the parade ring. J.P. Kirwan stated that he wanted to get down to the start to get a good position and had instructed the person leading up to turn back and exit the parade ring. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J.P. Kirwan was in breach of Regulation 16 and having considered his clean record in this regard, they fined him €100 on this occasion.
067D2 Munster Suite @ Limerick H'cap H'dleJ. Coen, rider of Hay Baby, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left on occasion.
G.P. Brouder, rider of Seeyouatpuck, trained by Peter McCreery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.
Mr M. Doyle, rider of Lacken Forest, trained by Gordon Michael Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise in running.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from G.E. O'Leary, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Silent Selector, placed first, as compared with its recent form. G.E. O'Leary stated that the first time application of a tongue strap and a change in tactics to front running on this occasion may have contributed to the improved performance. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered.

S. O'Callaghan, rider of Itsalonglongroad (GB), trained by Charles Coakley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped the last two fences to the right.

Mr D. Doyle, rider of Red Or White, trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount tried to run out at the bend past the stands and hung in the straight.
