The Raceday Stewards reviewed the falls at the second last fence involving MacDermott (FR), ridden by D.E. Mullins, and Dundaniel, ridden by D. King, where it appeared contact was made in mid air resulting in the falls. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Mr D. Doyle, rider of Drumgill, trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Stewards' secretary that his mount clipped a heel and stumbled independently.
