066A 'Look De Vega' At Ballylinch (F) M'dn

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Intensify, trained by A.P. O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Tarima, trained by D.K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump coming out of the stalls but it made no difference to his mount's running.

066C Ballylinch Stud 'Priory Belle' Stks

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Bubbling, trained by A.P. O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Sparkling Sea, trained by G.M. Lyons, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Usdi Atohi, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left from the stalls.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident inside the final furlong involving Exactly, ridden by R.L. Moore, placed second, and Swelter (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed first, where it appeared Exactly drifted left onto the hind quarters of Swelter. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J.A. Powell, rider of Copacabana Sands, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung left in the straight and was unlucky in running.

Henry de Bromhead, trainer of Minaun View (GB), reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board that she was in season post race.

066D P.W. McGrath Memorial Ballysax Stakes

The Raceday Stewards interviewed R.P. Whelan, rider of Lambourn, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who said as he did not make contact with what appeared to be the first strike. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted the riders evidence and took no further action. Mr. T. Breen recused himself from this enquiry and was replaced as chairman by Mr. N.B. Wachman.

066E 1888 Restaurant H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the one furlong marker involving Serious Contender, ridden by R.L. Moore, placed first, Dahlia Noir, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed fifth, and Mocking, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed fourth, where it appeared Serious Contender drifted left causing interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.L. Moore said his mount shifted left as he was about to use his whip but felt he corrected his mount immediately. G.M. Ryan and B.M. Coen both said they received contact from the right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Gabriella Hill, rider of Glen To Glen, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who said some of the strikes were for corrective purposes. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency). Having considered her clean record, they suspended her for two racedays.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Dahlia Noir, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a slight bump inside the final furlong.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, J. Cleary, rider of Light As Air, trained by A.P. O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount had no luck in running in the straight.

Prior to the running of this race the IHRB Clerk of the Course changed the going to good, good to yielding in places.

066F Legacy Wine Bar H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.J. O'Connor, rider of Expound (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency). Having considered his clean record, they suspended him for three racedays.

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Counterculture (GB), trained by W. McCreery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Zipster, trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

066G Sunday 11th May Family Day H'cap

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Mr. D. Maher, IHRB Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that C.N. Rowan, rider of Clarabell (GB), presented to weight out at 3lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider and Adrian Sexton, trainer. C.N. Rowan said he was able to do the weight but his minimum riding weight meant he would have to carry the overweight. He further added that it was his first ride and the horse was owned by his father. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed the overweight and took no further action.

L.F. Roche, rider of An Laochmor, trained by J.G. Coogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Seas And Oceans, trained by Eoghan Joseph O'Neill, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Saxon Kingdom, trained by Thomas Dowling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung violently left throughout.
