R.P. Cleary, rider of Clever And Cool, trained by J.S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.
070D P.W. McGrath Memorial Ballysax StakesThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately one and half furlongs from the finish involving Alexandroupolis, ridden by R.L. Moore, placed third, Up And Under (FR), ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed second and White Birch (GB), ridden by S. Foley where it appeared that interference had taken place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Foley stated that he received a bump when the horse on his inside made contact with him. M.P. Sheehy stated that he received contact from his inside causing him to bump S. Foley who was on his outside. R.L. Moore stated that it was his mount's second start and that he shifted right when he was being challenged on his outside causing interference which he then tried to correct. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that R.L. Moore was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard, they suspended him for 2 racedays.
070E Porsche In Supp Of Breast Cancer Ire HcpP.A. Harnett, rider of Teutates, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left in the home straight.
N.M. Crosse, rider of Pigeon House, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was keen and also hung right throughout.
070F Breast Cancer Ireland H'capR.P. Whelan, rider of Lord Vader (GB), trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount became upset in the stalls.
The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Comfort Line, trained by Adrian McGuinness, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
P.F. McEnery, trainer of Fools Glory, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board that his charge was subsequently found to be in season post race.
