The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards enquired into an incident after the winning line involving Grid (GB), ridden by S.M. Crosse, placed fourth, O'Reilly (FR), ridden by S. Foley, placed second, Salvucci, ridden by K.J. Manning, placed sixth and Sir Lamorak, ridden by P.B. Beggy, placed fifth, where it appeared that O'Reilly moved across into Grid, who in turn moved across into Salvucci causing him to clip a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference caused was accidental in nature and they therefore took no further action.
295C Leopardstown H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Emiyn (FR), trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
S.T. McCullagh, rider of Tauran Shaman trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly into stride.
295D1 Leopardstown H'capC.T. Keane, rider of Day Dreamin' trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned left up the straight.
S. Foley, rider of Sansevero Chapel trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got a little tight for room down the rail.
The Stewards interviewed C.T. Keane, rider of Day Dreamin', concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, including the riders report to the Clerk of the Scales, the Stewards were satisfied that three of the riders strikes, including the one down the shoulder in the forearm position, were for corrective purposes and as such the rider was not in breach of any part of regulation 10.
295D2 Leopardstown H'capThe Stewards interviewed C.D. Hayes, rider of Erytheia, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found C. D. Hayes in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered C. D. Hayes' record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.
295E Leopardstown (Fillies) M'dnL.T. McAteer, rider of Lough Swilly Pearl trained by Gillian Scott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.
