The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B.J. Cooper rode Helios D'aubrelle (FR) (reserve), trained by Thomas Cooper (Race 1)
M. Hamill rode Western Dreaming (FR) (reserve), trained by Patrick Breen (Race 2)
R.P. Treacy rode The Wood Pusher (reserve), trained by E. McNamara (Race 2)
S.W. Flanagan rode New Money (GB) (reserve), trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan (Race 6)
G. Brouder rode Annie Pender (reserve), trained by John Queally (Race 4).

106B ML Lynch Civil Engineering M'dn H'dle

R.A. Doyle, rider of Hit The Silk trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he was unable to hold his mount.

D.F. O'Regan, rider of The Mighty Grey trained by Daniel Joseph O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount went lame and was pulled up.

106C Tourist Attraction (Mares) H'dle

The Stewards enquired into possible interference after jumping the second last hurdle involving My Sister Sarah, ridden by D.E. Mullins, placed third, Getaway Gorgeous, ridden by B. Hayes, placed first, Effernock Fizz, ridden by A.W. Short, placed sixth and Western Victory, ridden by S.F. O'Keeffe, placed second, where it appeared that interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. A.W. Short, stated that he suffered no interference as his mount had just lost its position at the time of the incident. D.E. Mullins, stated that he received a bump, but felt it was of little significance. S.F. O'Keeffe, stated that his mount went slightly left after jumping the second last and that he straightened his mount as soon as he heard Mr. Hayes shouting. He further added that the incident had not cost him a better finishing position. B. Hayes, stated that the runner up had moved inwards as he was riding into a gap. He felt he was entitled to go for the gap and stated that Mr. O'Keeffe straightened on realising up that he was there. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident did not warrant any alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action other than to advise both B. Hayes and S.F. O'Keeffe to ride with more awareness in future. Mr. M.F. O'Donoghue, Acting Steward, absented himself from this enquiry and was replaced by Mr. Liam Walsh, Stipendary Steward.

Anthony Mullins, trainer of Rescue Package (FR), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was found to have burst 20 minutes post race.

106D Kelly Farm Modernisation Ltd H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tiger Tap Tap (GER), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have lost a left hind shoe.

106F Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Mares) Beg Sch

J.M. Moore, rider of Wadiyatink Now trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst. This was confirmed by the I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer.

The Stewards recieved a report from Mr. J.R. Banahan, I.H.R.B. Starter, that all the riders in this race had disobeyed his instructions at the start of this race, which subsequently resulted in two false starts. Evidence was heard from K.M. Donoghue, rider of Bealnablath, R.A. Doyle, rider of Eversosaucy, K.J. Brouder, rider of Pennywell Girl, Mr S. Fitzgerald, rider of Presenting Bonnie, D.E. Mullins, rider of Reine Free, D. Meyler, rider of Trees Valley, R.M. Power, rider of Tune The Chello, K.C. Sexton, rider of Twillight Girl, R. Blackmore, rider of Gin On Lime, B. Hayes, rider of Millyinthemiddle, J.M. Moore, rider of Wadlyatink, A.W. Short, rider of Whisper In Court, J.G. Gilligan, rider of Eightytwo Team and S.W. Flanagan, rider of New Money. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that K.M. Donoghue, R.A. Doyle, R. Blackmore, B. Hayes, K.J. Brouder, R. M. Power, Mr. S. Fitzgerald, D.E. Mullins, D. Meyler, K.C. Sexton, J.M. Moore, A.W. Short, J.G. Gilligan and S.W. Flanagan were all in breach of Rule 208 and issued a caution on this occasion. .

A.W. Short, rider of Whisper In Court trained by Paul Stafford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

B. Hayes, rider of Millyinthemiddle trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount felt wrong behind with a lap to go.

106G J O C Metal Fabrication H'cap S'chase

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Play The Part trained by W.M. Roper, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Soi Cowboy (GB), trained by Paul W. Flynn, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
