The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Seamus Fahey, trainer of Init Together (GB) (Transport Difficulties) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.D. Hayes replaced B.M. Coen on Harbour Gem, trained by D. K. Weld (Race 4)(Intended mount a non-runner)
C.D. Hayes rode Bigz Belief (reserve) trained by Matthew J. Smith (Race 8)
A.J. Slattery rode Tullyhogue Fort (reserve) trained by John F. O'Neill (Race 8)

198B Irish EBF Median Sires Series Race

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Kevin Thomas Coleman, trainer of Senior Montecristo (GB) for an additional 10 minutes to present his charge for an identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident inside the final 50 yards involving Green Triangle, ridden by M.W Hassett, where it appeared the horse jinked and went through the inner railing. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

M.W Hassett, rider of Green Triangle, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ducked through the rail in the final 50 yards.

198E The Rose Hotel H'cap

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Diego Dias, trainer of The World's Astage for an additional 10 minutes to present his charge for an identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident early in the straight involving Han Solo (GB) , ridden by D. Browne McMonagle, Skontonovski (GB), ridden by C.J. MacRedmond, and The World's Astage, ridden by C.T. Keane where it appeared these horses bumped. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. Browne McMonagle stated that as they turned in he got pressure from his outside and snatched up. C.J. MacRedmond stated that as he quickens by Han Solo (GB) his horse rolls in and he loses his hind quarters but tried his best to keep straight. C.T. Keane stated that as they turned in a gap appeared and he quickened into it and it gets congested. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

D. McMonagle, rider of Han Solo (GB), trained by Augustine Leahy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to check two and a half furlongs out.

M.W Hassett, rider of Spring Collection (GB), trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.W. O'Connor, rider of Chimeric, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record (clean record) into account suspended him for three race days.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Ifitwasme, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got held up in the straight.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of No Trouble, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left from two out and was short of room from two and a half furlongs out.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed A.S. Murphy, rider of Halcyon Spirit (GB), concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who gave her evidence in the presence of Mr. J. Motherway. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3(b)(chance gone) and having taken her record (clean record) into account suspended her for two race days.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed A.C. Persse, rider of Just Another Eagle, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he got sucked into a battle on a long straight and lost count. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record (clean record) into account suspended him for three race days.

198G Kelly Bros H'cap

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Calmafterthestorm, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung left.
