The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

John C. McConnell, trainer of Eagles Perch (Traffic accident) - €200
John C. McConnell, trainer of Griseo (Traffic accident) - €200

192A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

G.M. Ryan, rider of Alder trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left in the straight.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Hiawatha trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right during this race.

D. McMonagle, rider of Mister Mister (GER) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the bend leading into the straight.

The Stewards reviewed an incident about two hundred yards from the finish involving Alder, ridden by G.M. Ryan, Arabian Legend, ridden by W.M. Lordan, and Hiawatha, ridden by J.A. Heffernan where it appeared that Arabian Legend may have been tight for room when dropping back. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

192B Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Relevant Range, trained by P. Twomey, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

192C TOTE Always SP Or Better H'cap

M.A. Enright, rider of Starsong trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran free during this race.

192D SP Or Better Guaranteed With TOTE H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from John Joseph Murphy, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Charterhouse (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Sinead O'Sullivan, Authorised Representative, stated that dropping back into handicap company and the stable being in better form recently may have accounted for the apparent improvement. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

192E Play The TOTE Exacta (Fillies) M'dn

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Goodie Two Shoes trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hit in the face when the stall gate opened.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Shebiyra, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount collided with the running rail turning into the straight.

192F Irish Stallion Farms EBF Med Auct Race

The Stewards reviewed an incident about two furlongs from the finish involving Good Heavens, ridden by S.M. Crosse, Spasiba (FR), ridden by W.J. Lee, and Willesee (GB), ridden by S. Foley. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
