109A Societies Welcome At Gowran Park M'dn
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, J. Kearney, rider of Eastern Capital, trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran green up the straight and grabbed a fresh hold of his mount to run on.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend leaving the back straight involving Subjugate, ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, Bridge The Gap, ridden by T. Manley-Pender, unplaced, and Kentucky Gal, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, unplaced, where it appeared Bridge The Gap became unbalanced and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. T. Manley-Pender stated that he felt a small bit of pressure from his outside. S.Foley stated that he always left room on his inside. J.M. Sheridan stated that he maintained his line around the bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
109B New Sponsors Lounge At Gowran Park M'dnJ.M. Sheridan, rider of Noble Nation, trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran extremely keen and was a very difficult ride.

Farms EBF Vintage Tipple StksThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Perfect Portrait (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled its right fore shoe but to be otherwise post race normal.
109F Thank You To Our Sponsors Apprentice HcpThe Raceday Stewards requested a report from Leonard Paul Flynn, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Timeonourside, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Leonard Paul Flynn stated that his charge missed the break the last day and lost all chances of winning and that todays better break may have brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered.
J.A. Powell, rider of Pandion Power, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed T.R. Costello, rider of Romford, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, T.R. Costello accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied T.R. Costello was in breach of R.10.3(b)(hitting their mount when out of contention). Having taken his previous record into account the Raceday Stewards suspended T.R. Costello for two racedays.
109G Save 33% Buying Tickets Online H'capS. Foley, rider of Tomahawk King, trained by Micky Fenton, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very slowly away.
The Raceday Stewards advised Tom McGuinness, trainer of Hastily (GB), that a repeat performance from his charge, who was very unruly at the start, may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.
