The Raceday Stewards interviewed L. Quinlan, rider of Lucid Dreams, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. L Quinlan accepted he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found L. Quinlan in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard they suspended him for three racedays.

S. O'Callaghan, rider of Queen Nel, trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged left in the home straight.

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a 1 minute delay to race 6.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed John Joseph Hanlon, trainer of Eikonix (GB), concerning the conduct of Eikonix who was withdraw by order of the Stewards. The Raceday Stewards advised John Joseph Hanlon that a repeat performance of his charge may render a suspension in future.

The Raceday Stewards fined Adrian Sexton, trainer €65 for fitting what appeared to be a hood to Essential Part which had not been declared and ordered it’s removal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Kevin A Murphy, rider of Some Joke, trained by C.Byrnes, concerning the fact he did not pull his mount up. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he should have pulled his mount up. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Kevin A Murphy in breach of Rule 216(ii)(B)( for falling to pull up) and having considered his record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.
