The Raceday Stewards reviewed the start of this race where it appeared that Lizlucky, ridden by C.D Smithers, and Repeat That, ridden by R.P. Treacy were slowly away. Having viewed the recording of the start and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Lizlucky whipping around into the path of Repeat That after the starter had dropped his flag and that no further action was warranted.

K.C. Sexton, rider of Imbolc, trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action and found the ground too quick.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Norman Lee, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Oskar High, placed first, as compared with its recent form.
