C.D. Hayes, rider of Xeres (GB) trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount reared as the stalls opened.
The Stewards interviewed K.J. Manning, rider of Flying Visit, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found K. J. Manning in breach of Regulation 10.3.(g), excessive frequency. Having considered K. J. Mannings record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.
239B Donnellys Of Barna Rated RaceC.D. Hayes, rider of Sod's Law (GB) trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.
239C James P. Cunningham Electrical H'capR.P. Cleary, rider of Plunkett (GB) trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount acted up in the stalls.
G.P. Brouder, rider of Brothers In Arms trained by Ian O'Connor, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount whinnied up the home straight.
The Stewards requested a report from Philip M. Byrne, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Out On Friday, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Philip M. Byrne stated that his charge boiled over and bolted to the start on its most recent run at the Curragh on the 14th of August but was trotted to the start today and was much more relaxed. This coupled with the heavier ground today had helped to bring about the improvement when compared to its most recent run. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.
The Stewards informed Miss Evanna McCutcheon, trainer, that Londonofficecallin, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
239E Ardilaun Hotel Oyster StakesAt the request of the Stewards, D.P. McDonogh, rider of Mighty Blue (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount travelled into the dip like the winner but did not get up the hill and struggled with the step up in grade.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Mother Vincent trained by J. S. Bolger was struck into on its left hind.
239F Galway Apprentice H'capA. J. Slattery, rider of Trump Card trained by Conor O'Dwyer, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped.
239G Sean Cleary Memorial (Fillies) M'dnThe Stewards informed Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer that Noble Heritage (GER), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
S. Foley, rider of Zero Turn trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount struggled to quicken on the ground.
239H The Galway H'capS. Foley, rider of Autumn Mist trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount struggled on todays going.
The Stewards fined H. Rogers, trainer, €65 for fitting undeclared headgear to Botanical Lady.
