027C Fairyhouse Easter Festival Rated S'chaseThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the third last involving Corbetts Cross, ridden by Mr D. O'Connor, and Run Wild Fred, ridden by J.W. Kennedy, where it appeared the horses collided on landing. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
027D Book Your Advanced Tickets Rated Nov HdlB.P. Kennedy, rider of Camino Mission, trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped slowly early on.
027E Fairyhouse Punters Pack M'dn H'dleThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the approach to the final hurdle involving Arch Hall, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, and Firebrand (GER), ridden by Rachael Blackmore, where it appeared Firebrand (GER) attempted to bite Arch Hall. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Duke Silver, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.
027F Fairyhouse Schooling Races (M) M'dn HdleThe Raceday Stewards received a report from Mr. P.L. Malone, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that D.J Gilligan, rider of Hey Whatever, weighed in at 1.3 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he couldn't account for the discrepancy. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that D.J. Gilligan was in breach of Rule 231 (second offence) and suspended him for two race days.
027G Bobbyjo Day February 24th H'cap H'dleC.P. McNamara, rider of Storm Mahler, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a mistake at the fourth last.
