The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R. Blackmore replaced P. Townend on Ballygunner Castle, trained by W.P. Mullins (Race 2)(injured).
R. Blackmore replaced P. Townend on Karniquet (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins (Race 4)(injured).

074A Easter Festival 19 - 21 April M'dn H'dle

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Smooth Gale, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left early on.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Slea Head trained by Peter Maher was lame on his left hind post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Speedy Box trained by S. Michael Millar was lame on his right fore post race.

074B Paddy Kehoe Ceilings Novice H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Wingmen, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race and struck his left fore knee in running.

074D Donohue Marquees Novice H'dle

Prior to the running of race four the official going was changed to Good to Yielding.

074E Whistlin' Donkeys H'cap H'dle

P. Hanlon, rider of Topgun Simmy, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not get a clear run turning into the home straight. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied no further action was warranted.

E. Walsh, rider of West Is Awake, trained by Edward Cawley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action and pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined West Is Awake, trained by Edward Cawley, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have struck into his left fore fetlock and pastern.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, Mr. J.R. Banahan, that T. Joseph Kelly, rider of Brave Adam broke into a canter before the flag was dropped causing a false start. Evidence was heard from the starter and rider concerned. T. Joseph Kelly stated that his mount can be headstrong and broke into a canter despite his best efforts. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found T. Joseph Kelly in breach of Rule 208(iii)(b) and in considering his clean record, they suspended him for one raceday.

074F BoyleSports Supporting Irish H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after turning into the home straight involving Oakley (GER), ridden by D.E. Mullins, placed third, Woodford Warrior, ridden by C.D Smithers, unplaced, and Bhean Saibhre, ridden by P.K. Donovan, unplaced, where it appeared an incident may have occured. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.K. Donovan stated that he was beginning to retreat when it got tight as the runners passed. D.E. Mullins stated that as he went to move into the gap his mount leaned left. C.D. Smithers stated that his mount leaned right as he passed the horse on his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

074G Irish Stall. Farms EBF (M) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr D.L. Queally, rider of Carrigmoornaspruce, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Mr. D.L. Queally accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr. D.L. Queally was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and in considering his clean record they suspended him for two racedays.

Miss A.B. O'Connor, rider of Royal Hillsborough, trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount jumped the road and ran off the bend and was pulled up.
