Mullins, placed first, Churchstonewarrior, ridden by D.F. O'Regan, placed second, and Falcon Eight, ridden by J.W. Kennedy, placed third, where it appeared that Bronn and Churchstonewarrior collided at the last hurdle. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, D.F. O'Regan stated that his mount had jumped left earlier and jumped left again at the final hurdle colliding with Bronn. He added that ultimately this did not cost his mount any momentum. J.W.
