The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

O. J. Orr replaced L.F. Roche on Aleksey Tolstoy, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan (Race 4)(Rider administration error)
C. D. Hayes replaced L.F. Roche on Dreams Delivered, trained by D.J. Bunyan (Race 5)(Rider administration error)

255A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Claiming Race

A.J. Slattery, rider of No Patience trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls and as a result missed the break.

255B Sands Of Mali @Ballyhane (Fillies) M'dn

James J. Doyle, rider of Belted (GB) trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran green in the closing stages.

255C Fairyhouse Apprentice H'cap

At the request of the Stewards, J.A. Powell, rider of Kosman, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very awkward leaving the stalls and his saddle slipped.

A.J. Farragher, rider of Eglish (GB) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was awkward leaving the stalls and hung right throughout.

The Stewards interviewed P.A. Harnett, rider of Tony The Gent, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found P. A. Harnett in breach of Regulation 10.3.(g) excessive frequency. Having considered P. A. Harnetts record in this regard the Stewards suspended P. A. Harnett for two racedays.

255D Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction M'dn

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Fine Distraction, ridden by C. D. Hayes and Choice and Chance, ridden by S. Foley where it appeared that Choice and Chance rolled onto the racing line of Fine Distraction. Having viewed the recording and considered that matter the Stewards decided that no further action was warranted

C.D. Hayes, rider of Fine Distraction trained by D.J. Bunyan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount rolled about in the straight.

S. Foley, rider of Choice And Chance trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned right in the straight.

255E Tattersalls Yearling Sale Nursery H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Abogados trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount raced very freely.

255F Ballyhane Blenheim Stakes

S. Foley, rider of Dickiedooda trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount struggled on todays slow ground.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Dense Star trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount struggled on todays slow ground.

255G1 Follow Fairyhouse On Social Media H'cap

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the early stages of this race where it appeared that Queens Carriage, ridden by M. C. Hussey clipped a heel. Having viewed the recording and considered the matter the stewards decided that no further action was warranted.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Crystal Dawn trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

S. Foley, rider of Theoneyouare trained by Niall Thomas Egan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not move well.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Dee Sprinter trained by Reginald Roberts, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

G.M. Ryan, rider of It's All A Joke trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped slowly.

The Stewards requested a report from Mrs D. A. Love, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Manhattan Dandy, placed second, as compared with its recent form. Mrs. D. A. Love stated that they had gone very hard in the early stages of todays race and when her charge started to run on passed tired horses he really began to gain confidence and rally. Furthermore she stated that her charge seemed to handle this track particularly well. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.

255G2 Follow Fairyhouse On Social Media H'cap

N.M. Crosse, rider of Iseebreeze trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.
Mr. Joseph McGrath absented himself for this race and Mr. Michael Hickey acted as Chairman of The Stewards.
