L.T. McAteer, rider of Tastyee trained by David Kenneth Budds, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was very slowly away.

W. Joyce, rider of Approach The City trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dark Note (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D. McMonagle, rider of Beescatty trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran very green.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Marbling (GB), trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Zozimus, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed fifth and Fastman, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, unplaced, where it appeared Zozimus momentarily leaned in on Fastman. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Osraige, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed third and Pink Socks, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed fourth, where it appeared that Osraige crossed the racing line of Pink Socks. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

D. McMonagle, rider of Osraige trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount rolled around under pressure.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Yeno It's Tricky trained by R. K. Watson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her saddle slipped forward.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Burning Lake, trained by Joseph Anthony Murray, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

W. Joyce, rider of Burning Lake trained by Joseph Anthony Murray, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left in the straight.

The Stewards interviewed L.T. McAteer, rider of Sense Of Romance, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that L. T. McAteer was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered L. T. McAteer's record in this regard the Stewards, pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 10.6.a suspended L. T. McAteer for six racedays.
