The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Chummie, trained by T.M. Walsh, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
D.E. Sheehy, rider of Benkogambit trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
O.J. Orr, rider of Ellabella trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran short of room at the first bend.
G.M. Ryan, rider of Star Act trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got tight for room after a furlong.
The Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the first bend involving Valderrama, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, Ellabella, ridden by O.J. Orr, Star Act, ridden by G.M. Ryan and Our Secret Pearl (GB), ridden by G.F. Carroll, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards did not apportion blame to any individual rider and therefore took no further action.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Benkogambit trained by Patrick Martin was found to have nasal discharge post race.
346C1 Crowne Plaza Hotel Leading Jockey H'capD.P. McDonogh, rider of Linus Larrabee trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right throughout.
346C2 Crowne Plaza Hotel Leading Jockey H'capThe Stewards enquired from M.P. Sheehy, rider of Stay In, who fell on the flat in the home straight. The rider reported that his mount felt wrong after turning in and dropped to the ground shortly afterwards. Having considered the report and viewed a recording of the incident, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
The Stewards requested a report from Patrick Martin, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Indiana Grey, placed first, as compared with its recent run at the Curragh on November 6th, when finishing last of 17 runners and was beaten by 26 and a 1/2 lengths. The trainer reported that his charge was unsuited by the draw on her previous run and was forced to race on the worst of the very heavy ground conditions as a result of this. He said his charge was better suited to the better gound conditions on this occasion and felt this had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

Sheridan, Mente Hermosa (GB), ridden by T.P. Madden, Smile At Me, ridden by D.P. McDonogh and Belper Rose, ridden by L.F. Roche, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise J. M. Sheridan, T.P. Madden and D.P. McDonogh to ride with more awareness in future.
346E Irishinjuredjockeys.com Apprentice H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Punk Poet, trained by Edward Lynam, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race. Samples were taken for analysis.
B.M. Coen, rider of Punk Poet trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran very keen early on.

The Stewards reviewed an incident rounding the first bend, involving Scherbatsky, ridden by J.A. Powell, Wild Shot (GB), ridden by O.J. Orr, Heliaebel (GB), ridden by K.J. Manning, Chateau Musar, ridden by C.D. Hayes and Crest Of A Wave, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, where it appeared Crest Of A Wave stumbled. Having viewed a recording of the incident, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
N.G. McCullagh, rider of Crest Of A Wave, trained by Charles O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount panicked on the railing, clipped a heel and stumbled.
