The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Vanity Pays (GB), trained by P. Twomey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident involving Comein Comein, ridden by M. Santos, and Janzoor, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, approximately four furlongs from the finish where it appeared Janzoor checked. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
282C View Restaurant At Dundalk Stadium H'capS. Foley, rider of Ghumama, trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount anticipated the start and hit the gates.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Denis W. Cullen, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Charlisse, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. The trainer reported that his charge got no run on the inner in Leopardstown last time when she got boxed in with nowhere to go. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its contents.
The Raceday Stewards advised Anthony McCann, trainer of Lockdown (GB), that a repeat of this horse's behaviour where it bolted on its way to the start and was withdrawn may render it liable to suspension in future.

S. Foley, rider of Yester, trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount went right out of the stalls and for the first furlong.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from M.D. O'Callaghan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Rockbury Lad (GB), placed first, as compared with its most recent run. The trainer reported that his charge didn't handle the yielding going at Killarney last time. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its contents.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Circles, trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset and hung right throughout.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed R. Whearty, rider of Feature This, trained by Paul W. Flynn, concerning his use of a mobile phone in the parade ring prior to this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was handed the phone by the person leading up his mount to speak to the trainer regarding instructions as the trainer wasn't at the races today. He stated he was unaware of Regulation 16. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.16 and having taken his clean record in this regard into account, fined him €100.
282E Friday Night Lights Apprentice H'capAdam Caffrey, rider of Dalvey (GB), trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
J.A. Powell, rider of Longclaw (USA), trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.
C.D. Fahy, rider of Khadaash (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount refused to race.
The Raceday Stewards advised John C. McConnell, trainer of Khadaash (GB), that a repeat of this horse's behaviour where it stood in the stalls and refused to race, may render it liable to suspension in future.
282F2 Christmas Party Nights Bookings H'capThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the run to the first bend involving Mads Black Eights, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, Say You're Sorry, ridden by W.J. Lee, Doctor Grace, ridden by R.P. Whelan, and Numidia, ridden by K.J. Leonard where it appeared horses got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. K.J. Leonard stated that he wanted to go forward but the pace was strong, he met interference and took back. D.P. McDonogh stated that he was about to slot in when Say You're Sorry shot down the inside and fired him out. W.J. Lee stated that he dropped in but his horse saw space in front of him and locked on at which point he had not much control. R.P. Whelan stated that he went to slot in to the rail when he heard a shout from W.J. Lee. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that any interference which occurred was accidental and they took no further action.
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Mads Black Eights, trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got badly hampered at the first bend.
W.J. Lee, rider of Say You're Sorry, trained by Eamonn O'Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very keen.
C.D. Hayes, rider of Dark Street, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged right in the straight.
