Adam Caffrey, rider of Albion Power, trained by Keith Henry Clarke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right the last furlong and a half.
N.M. Crosse, rider of Arcoiris (GB), trained by Michael J. Browne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the gates.
W.J. Lee, rider of Quatrain, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right up the straight.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Colugo, ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed second, and Quatrain, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed fourth, where it appeared Colugo drifted left under pressure across Quatrain. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Murphy, trainer of Free Solo, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90. However, the animal was subsequently withdrawn by Order of the Stewards for failing to arrive by the new deadline.
