The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

P.J.F. Murphy, trainer of Fly To Glory (declared in error) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J. Cleary replaced G.P. Brouder on Zentopia, trained by S.M.Duffy (Race 7)(unwell)

012A Floodlit Fridays At Dundalk H'cap

J. Cleary, rider of Mint Man (GB), trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the home straight involving Heart Of Darkness (GB), ridden by J. Kearney, placed fourth, and Dream Today, ridden by J.A. Powell, placed third, where it appeared the two horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.A. Powell stated that he kept a straight line and caused no interference. J. Kearney stated that he moved his mount out for daylight but he wasn't able to fill the gap. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Crystal Luna, trained by Daniel James Murphy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be showing signs that she might be coming into season post race.

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Paul W. Flynn, trainer of Scott Lang, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Nicola Burns, rider of Scott Lang, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she had struck her mount nine times but stated that one of the strikes was for corrective purposes. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Nicola Burns was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered her clean record in this regard, they suspended her for two racedays.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Warrior Lion (GB), trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.

J. Kearney, rider of Mephisto, trained by Gerard Keane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left up the straight.

H.J. Horgan, rider of Nusra, trained by G. Ahern, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got short of room inside the first furlong. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Oliver J.Power, trainer of Jet Times, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was lame post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jet Times, trained by Oliver J.Power, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on its right fore post race.

The Raceday Stewards fined John C. McConnell, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared cheekpieces to Quiet Desire prior to entering the parade ring.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Catch The Paddy, trained by Patrick J. McKenna, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards fined P.J.F. Murphy, trainer, €65 for fitting blinkers to Free Solo which had not been declared and ordered its removal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the home straight involving Volatile Analyst (USA), ridden by J. Kearney, placed first, and Little Keilee, ridden by D.S. O'Sullivan, placed fifth, where it appeared Little Keilee ran short of room momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

R. Whearty, rider of Port Louis, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen throughout and hung right up the straight.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Circles, trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mulgrave, trained by John C. McConnell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on its right fore post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Navy Beach, trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race possibly because of kick back.
