The Raceday Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Point De Vue (GB), trained by D.J. Bunyan, for failing to present the horse for identification to an Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Boom Boom Boom (GB), trained by C.Byrnes, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Guild (GB) trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced too keen.

Sorcha Woods, rider of Linus Larrabee trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Emperor Of Silk, trained by Anthony Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

373G1 Happy Christmas From All At Dundalk Hcap

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Final Fantasy (GB) trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout this race.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Lex Maxima trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount lugged left on the bend into the home straight.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference about one and a half furlongs from the finish involving Slamadoor, ridden by L.F. Roche, placed fourth, Contrapposto, ridden by C.T. Keane, unplaced, Blackstone Cliff, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed first, Lex Maxima, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, unplaced, and Mephisto, ridden by M.A. Enright, unplaced, where it appeared that there was a knock on effect when Blackstone Cliff manoeuvred to the left when starting his challenge. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In her evidence, Siobhan Rutledge stated that she received a bump from her right but her mount was retreating at the time. C.T. Keane stated that he had enough room when his mount levelled off but then it got tight and he took a check. M.A. Enright stated that he received a bump from his right and checked but his chance was gone at that time. L.F. Roche stated that he had enough room and never stopped riding at the time of the interference and in his opinion his finishing position was not affected. D. McMonagle stated that he initially went for a gap on the outer but it closed so he edged left but his mount changed leads and stepped across. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings. They were, however, of the opinion that D. McMonagle was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended D. McMonagle for four racedays. .

D. McMonagle, rider of Anjah trained by C. Moore, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

L.F. Roche, rider of Sod's Law (GB) trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not let himself down on the surface which in his opinion had frozen.
