The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Eoin Doyle, trainer of Moondharrig (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.J.G. Ryan rode Limited Edition (GB) (reserve) trained by Keith Henry Clarke (Race 4)

052A 361 Days To The Supreme BetVictor H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn for home involving Arnhem, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed fourth, Petit Calvados, ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, and Billboa (GB), ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed first, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.M. Ryan stated that he received a shout from his inside and felt he kept his mount straight. S. Foley stated that he ran tight for room as the other horses carried him across. D.P. McDonogh stated that he felt pressure from his outside and was doing his best to hold his line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found G.M. Ryan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one raceday.

S. Foley, rider of Petit Calvados, trained by Eoghan Joseph O'Neill, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight after going a furlong.

R. Whearty, rider of Musical Tribute (GB), trained by Keith Henry Clarke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered just before the turn in.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Billboa (GB), trained by W.P.Browne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was carried left and hampered on the turn in.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in between the two furlong and one furlong pole where it appeared Harry's Hill ridden by M.W. Hassett got tight for room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

052B Gateway Hotel Race & Stay Claiming Race

The Raceday Stewards interviewed S.P. Davis, rider of Jaafel, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, S.P. Davis accepted he was in breach of the Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied S.P. Davis was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and R.10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record in this regard(second offence under Regulation 10), they suspended him for nine racedays.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Snag It, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around up the straight.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Kevin Thomas Coleman, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Victory Star (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Kevin Thomas Coleman stated that the race wasn't run to suit his charge the last day and he got things more his own way today which helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after turning in to the back straight where it appeared Tara Power ridden by R.M. Mulligan got tight for room on the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

G.P. Halpin, rider of Forbidden Planet (GB), trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount caught a heel just before the turn in. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

052D View Restaurant At Dundalk H'cap

The Raceday Stewards fined John E. & Thomas Kiely, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared headgear to Miss Aytan, prior to entering the parade ring.

R. Whearty, rider of Maura's Gift, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Limited Edition (GB), trained by Keith Henry Clarke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't let himself down on the surface.

W.J. Lee, rider of Spirit Of Paradise, trained by G.A. Kingston, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran on heels turning in.

052E Dundalk Winter Series H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Marks Bear, trained by W.J. Burke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran up on the heels after a furlong and a half.

052F Book Online @ DundalkStadium.com H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Coulstar, trained by J.P. Murtagh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Cool Dan, trained by Leanne Breen, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.

052G Best Odds Guaranteed At BetVictor Race

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident the closing stages of this race involving Genesis, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed second, and Jakajaro, ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed first, where it appeared the two came close together very close to the line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Perfect Judgement, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had no luck in running.

052H Happy St Patrick's Weekend H'cap

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Autumnal Breeze, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount went wrong for a few strides and pulled up.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the first bend involving Pro Bono Alexander, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, unplaced, Phil's Dream, ridden by K.G. Kennedy, placed third, and Net A Porter Queen, ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S.Foley stated that he got caught out wide and didn't have the pace to go forward but couldn't pull back. K.G. Kennedy stated that he felt there was plenty of room up the inside. J.A. Heffernan stated that it got tight for a few strides. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Autumnal Breeze, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be very slightly lame in front post race.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Santa Fe, trained by Charles O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount fly leaped from the gates.
