The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.J.G. Ryan rode Indiana Grey (reserve) trained by Patrick Martin (Race 2).

241B Bar One Racing Quick Withdraw H'cap

J.A. Powell, rider of Tynamite trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly into stride.

The Stewards enquired into an incident soon after the turn into the straight involving Harbanaker, ridden by R. Whearty, Never Back Down, ridden by James J. Doyle, Shimla Rolann (GB), ridden by N.M. Crosse, and Dusty Winds, ridden by G.M. Ryan where it appeared Never Back Down shifted right . Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N.M. Crosse stated after the turn in his mount got tight for space and received a bump from the inside. R. Whearty stated after the turn in he received pressure and a bump from the outside. G.M. Ryan stated that when angling out, Never Back Down shied and he rode to avoid that horses heels. James J. Doyle stated that his mount had made the running and after the turn in, changed leads and exaggerated his outward movement. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised James J. Doyle to ride with more awareness. .

The Stewards enquired into an incident soon after the start involving Dusty Winds, ridden by G.M. Ryan, Greek Opera, ridden by N.P O'Sullivan, Celtic Revival, ridden by L.T. McAteer, and Mymacushla, ridden by J. Coen where it appeared that Greek Opera ran short of room when racing close to the running rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N.P O'Sullivan stated that he had the rails position when left tight for room. J. Coen stated that he was trying to take his mount back when it got congested. G.M. Ryan stated that it took him longer to take his mount back which left him on heels and tight for room. L.T. McAteer stated that his mount was running keen and he moved towards the rails when he felt he was clear. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised L.T. McAteer to ride with more awareness. At this enquiry, N.P. O'Sullivan was accompanied by Ms Elaine O'Farrell and J. Coen was accompanied by Kevin Borthwick.

241C Bar One Racing Bet On Mobile App M'dn

J.A. Powell, rider of Carslake (GB) trained by Aengus King, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the starting stalls and missed the break.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Luck Of The Dice trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled during this race.

The Stewards wished to interview C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Carnival Girl (GB), concerning his use of the whip in this race. As the rider had departed from the racecourse within the ten minutes of the "Winner All Right" announcement [Rule 229(v)], the Stewards referred these matters to a Senior Racing Official for further investigation.

The Stewards interviewed D.J Gilligan, rider of Lecale's Destiny, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned . In his evidence, D.J Gilligan stated that his mount was lugging out early in the straight and he used his whip in his backhand in front of the saddle for corrective purposes. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards accepted D.J Gilligan's explanation by allowing the early use of the whip for corrective purposes and deemed that the remaining use of the whip did not breach the provisions of R10(3). At this enquiry, D.J Gilligan was accompanied by Kevin Borthwick.

241D Irish EBF Auction Series (F) M'dn

G.M. Ryan, rider of Daughteroffortune trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tightened up in the first furlong.

N.M. Crosse, rider of All In The Hips trained by Jack W. Davison, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the early stages of this race involving Daughteroffortune, ridden by G.M. Ryan where it appeared that the filly got tight for room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Zing Up trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung a bit left during this race.

241E Bar One Racing Mourne H'cap

S.P. Davis, rider of Sister Rosetta trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got very restless in the stalls.

J.A. Powell, rider of Anatoli (GB) trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

241F Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Red God' H'cap

W.M. Lordan, rider of Catena Zapata trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced very keenly.

The Stewards requested a report from M.Halford, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Golden Twilight, placed first, as compared with its recent run at Galway on the 29th July when finishing seventeenth of eighteen to Sionnach Eile. M. Halford reported that his charge did not handle the soft ground and the undulating track at Galway. He showed his liking for todays surface having been a previous winner here of two handicaps. Having considered the explanation the Stewards noted the content of the report.

241G1 Bar One Racing €50 Free Bet H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Ghumama, placed first, as compared with its recent run at Galway on the 28th July when finishing thirteenth of eighteen to Star Image. The trainer reported that prior to Galway his charge had campaigned over hurdles but this did not work out. She reverted to the flat at Galway where the soft underfoot conditions and the tough uphill finish did not suit her. Today she raced on a sound surface which she had previously handled and was comfortable in this lower grade handicap. Having considered the explanation the Stewards noted the content of the report

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pride Of Pimlico, trained by Brendan W.Duke, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame behind post race.

241G2 Bar One Racing €50 Free Bet H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from Anthony McCann, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Ragtime Red, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Anthony McCann reported that his charge had won here previously and had shown a liking for the surface. Having considered the explanation the Stewards noted the content of the report.
