R. Whearty, rider of Varner, trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was lame on pulling up. This was subsequently confirmed by the IHRB Veterinary Officer who reported the animal to be lame on its right hind post race.

309C Friday Night Lights At Dundalk H'cap

J. Cleary, rider of Sweetest, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a false step going into the first bend.

Edward Lynam, trainer of Punk Poet, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge got struck into on the first bend.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident going into the first bend involving Punk Poet, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed third, Little Empire, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed second, and Sweetest, ridden by J. Cleary, unplaced, where it appeared Sweetest clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane stated that he was clear of Sweetest on his inside and his mount rolled in slightly when he changed leads. G.M. Ryan stated that he received a minor bump when Sweetest clipped a heel. J. Cleary stated that he was happy to take a lead and as soon as Punk Poet came over in front of him his mount latched on. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

S. Foley, rider of September Leaves, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to sit for a stride up the straight.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Tokenomics (FR), ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed third, and September Leaves, ridden by S. Foley, placed sixth, where it appeared S. Foley had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Foley stated that his mount is not the most straightforward type. He further added that Tokenomics has quickened past him, his mount saw him coming and backed out. L.T. McAteer stated that he rolled slightly off the horses heels in front of him and thought he was gone clear of September Leaves at the time. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found L.T. McAteer was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

309E William Hill Top Price Apprentice H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed P.A. Harnett, rider of Koniag, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and stated that the first two flicks were for corrective purposes. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that P.A. Harnett was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Areana, trained by Conor David Maxwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

309F Halloween Mid-Term Racing Dundalk H'cap

S. Foley, rider of No Say Ever (GB), trained by Miss Amanda Mooney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never let himself down in the straight.

309G Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk H'cap

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the home straight involving Bright N Shine, ridden by Adam Caffrey, placed fourth, Natural Ruler, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed first, and Pearl Jewel, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed fifth, where it appeared Pearl Jewel got tight for room momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the final furlong involving Natural Ruler, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed first, Miss Paloma (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third, and Warrior Lion (GB), ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed second, where it appeared the three horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.M. Ryan stated that his mount ducked for a stride and pulled back out of the gap himself. W.J. Lee stated that he kept a straight line. C.T. Keane stated that his mount wears cheekpieces and went to go for the gate but he corrected him immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

C.T. Keane, rider of Natural Ruler, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around under pressure in the last furlong and a half.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Warrior Lion (GB), trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran slightly short of room a furlong from home.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Street Mentor (USA), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left out of the gates.
