The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Joseph G. Murphy, trainer of Orchis (Ground) - €200
Eddie & Patrick Harty, trainer of Advantage Point (Ground) - €200
J. S. Bolger, trainer of Believe In Science (Off feed) - €200
Damian Joseph English, trainer of Xael (Ground) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Kuyanna Van Buuren rode Magi Gal (reserve) trained by John C. McConnell (Race 7).

261A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

D. McMonagle, rider of Bonny Power trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left in the closing stages of this race.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Profitable Edge trained by John Stephen O'Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a bump at the one furlong marker and was carried left. Having reviewed a recording of this part of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

261B Irish EBF Supp Champions Weekend M'dn

The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the final one hundred yards involving Gobi Star, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed second, Jupiter Express, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, unplaced, Aurora Nova, ridden by R.C. Colgan, placed third, It Might Be You, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed sixth, and Sceolan, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed first, where it appeared that Jupiter Express may have got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, J.M. Sheridan stated that his mount was dropping back when he took him back on receiving pressure from his left. G.F. Carroll stated that despite his mount leaning left she maintained a straight racing line to the finish. W.J. Lee stated that his mount rolled in slightly after she hit the front but was corrected to continue on a straight racing line. R.C. Colgan stated that his mount was outpaced early on and was running on looking for gaps to deliver a challenge. C.D. Hayes stated that his mount was feeling the ground on the downhill run and rolled in for a stride before being corrected back onto a straight racing line. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings and took no further action.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Jupiter Express trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got squeezed for room in the straight.

G.F. Carroll, rider of It Might Be You trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left in the closing stages of this race but maintained a straight racing line.

W.J. Lee, rider of Sceolan trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hit the front, changed her legs, rolled in slightly and was corrected.

D. McMonagle, rider of Sosallycanwait trained by Leanne Breen, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run in this race.

261D Grant Thornton Nursery H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident over one furlong from the finish involving Distillate (GB), ridden by Adam Caffrey, and Pub Talk, ridden by C.T. Keane where it appeared that Distillate (GB) made a sharp manoeuvre to the left and made contact with Pub Talk. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, C.T. Keane stated that his mount was already edging to the left before Distillate (GB) manoeuvered out and made contact. Adam Caffrey stated that he asked his mount to manoeuvre out left for a gap but she over exaggerated the movement through greenness. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Distillate (GB) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount over exaggerated the movement when asked to move out into a gap.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Lady Skipper trained by James M. Barrett, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced very keen.

The Stewards fined Thomas Dowling, trainer €65 for fitting blinkers to Jilted (GB) which had not been declared and ordered it’s removal.

Thomas Dowling, trainer of Jilted (GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge pulled an off fore shoe.

261E Grant Thornton Ulster Cesarewitch H'cap

Prior to the meeting, the Stewards approved a request from Clerk of the Course, Ms. T. O'Meara, to amend the distance of this race to two miles, two furlongs and fifty five yards. This race was started by flag.

J.A. Powell, rider of Loudest Whisper trained by E. D. Delany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount edged right in the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dark Voyager, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

261F BBFC H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bambeano, trained by Mark Fahey, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race.

At the request of the Stewards, G.M. Ryan, rider of Bambeano, trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount started to hang and was eased down as he thought she might be gone lame but she subsequently pulled up sound.

261G Grant Thornton H'cap

The Stewards advised Patrick Martin, trainer, that his charge El C Wells could be liable to a suspension if she repeated her behaviour of failing to canter to the start. Dismounted and led

J. Coen, rider of El C Wells trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung severely left throughout this race.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Numidia trained by Peter Lawlor, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout this race.
