The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S.F. O'Keeffe replaced O.R. Brown on Misty Adage, trained by James Joseph Mangan (Race 5)(Injured)

019A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Rated Nov. S'ch

The Stewards interviewed D.N. Russell, rider of Diamond Turf (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that D.N. Russell was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended D.N. Russell for 1 raceday.

019B Molson Coors H'cap S'chase

The Stewards interviewed S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Misty Adage, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that S.F. O'Keeffe was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended S.F. O'Keeffe for 4 racedays.

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for fence #3 to be omitted from this race

The Stewards requested a report from Niall Madden, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Golden Sunset (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Niall Madden reported that his charge previously ran at Fairyhouse on the 14th January where he travelled well until stopping quickly after the third last fence. The animal was subsequently scoped and examined at home post race and no abnormality was found. In his opinion his charge did not handle the heavy ground conditions on the inside track at Fairyhouse and was winning his first race today. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

019C Molson Coors H'cap S'chase

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for fence #3 to be omitted from this race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rooster Byron, trained by Paul Nolan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Final List, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

The Stewards interviewed Rachael Blackmore, rider of Aherlow, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Rachael Blackmore was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using her whip with excessive frequency. Having taken her previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned Rachael Blackmore on this occasion.

019D Molson Coors M'dn H'dle

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed Drumbaragh, trained by Nigel Carolan, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified.

019E Molson Coors Rated Novice H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Carrigmoorna Pine, trained by Robert Tyner, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be sore behind post race.

J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Without Limites (FR) trained by Miss Elizabeth Doyle, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having stopped quickly.

019F Molson Coors (Mares) H'cap H'dle

J.J.Lambe, trainer of Drumconnor Girl, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge burst a blood vessel during this race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Saol Iontach, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.
