The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.J. Orr replaced D.J. McInerney on Florey Spud, trained by P.F.O'Donnell (Race 5)(injured)
S. O'Callaghan replaced C.G. O'Dwyer on Greenandwhitearmy, trained by Neil McKnight (Race 6)(stood down)
Corey McGivern replaced C.G. O'Dwyer on Glenview, trained by Desmond McDonogh (Race 7)(stood down)
C.M. Quirke replaced A.P. Kelly on Crabtrees Rebel, trained by James Andrew Fahey (Race 2)(stood down)

159B AJC Group M'dn H'dle

E. Walsh, rider of Woolfie Smith trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. This was subsequently confirmed by the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer.

159C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (M) H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed I.J. Power, rider of Red Ball Of Fire, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of Regulation 10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that I.J. Power was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and R10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 7 racedays.

The Stewards interviewed Kieran Callaghan, rider of Frazel Express, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he had used his whip above the recommended guidelines. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Kieran Callaghan was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.

159D Tote Jackpot Opportunity H'cap H'dle

P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Very Excellent trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped at the third last.

159E Randox Rated Novice H'dle

The Stewards interviewed K.E Buckley, rider of Minella Youngy, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he had had used his whip excessively adding he miscounted the number of strikes. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that K.E. Buckley was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and taking his record into consideration, they cautioned him on this occasion.

The Stewards received a report from Ms. Jennifer Walsh, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that C. Brassil , rider of Churchtown Ruby , weighed in at 1.5lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted the overweight but could not give the reason behind the overweight. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that C, Brassil was in breach of Rule 231(iii) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.

159F Dunlop Homes H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident after jumping the second last involving Red Striker, ridden by D.P. Maxwell, who fell, Perfect Arch, ridden by C.J. Orr, placed sixth, and Greenandwhitearmy, ridden by S. O'Callaghan, unplaced, where it appeared Red Striker clipped heels and fell hampering Greenandwhitearmy. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.J. Orr stated that he was riding tight to the rail when he heard a shout at which stage he tried to maneuvre out. S. O'Callaghan stated that he was behind when Red Striker fell and hampered him finishing his chance. As D.P. Maxwell was unable to attend the enquiry as a result of the fall the Stewards could not conclude the enquiry so the referred the matter on to the Referrals Committee for further investigation.

P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Drumbaragh trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

R.J. Condon, rider of I Am Spider Man trained by Noel C. Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left at times.

Kieran Callaghan, rider of I'vedoneitall trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

G.P. Brouder, rider of I Don't Get It trained by Neill McCluskey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly and he had to use his whip to correct him. He also added that his boot snapped causing him to loose an iron.

159G Ir Stall Farms EBF (M)(PA) INH Flat Race

The Stewards enquired into an incident at the road crossing the first time where Lockdown Daisy ridden by Miss A. McGuinness fell on the flat. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that her mount stumbled and fell independently. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

Mr B.W. Harvey, rider of Unknown Buyer trained by B. R. Hamilton, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout.
