Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a two minute delay to this race

G.M. Ryan, rider of Huxley, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was impeded several times after the three furlong mark.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approximately two and a half furlongs out involving Chandigah, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, Huxley, ridden by G.M. Ryan, unplaced, and Meriwether Lewis (USA), ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed fifth, where it appeared Huxley ran short of room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Chandigah, ridden by C.D. Hayes, Chicago Fireball, ridden by B.M. Coen, Portland, ridden by R.L. Moore, and Huxley, ridden by G.M. Ryan where it appeared Chandigah received a bump. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. D. Hayes stated that his mount was green and intimidated but he was not sure if there had been contact. B. M. Coen stated that he went for a gap and his mount shied away from the horse on his outer causing him to shift in and make contact with the horse on his inner. G. M. Ryan stated that he took a check when the horse on his outside got a bump. R. L. Moore stated that he maintained his line but his mount was green. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted. Mr. John Murphy did not attend this enquiry.

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a one minute delay to this race

C. D. Hayes, rider of Slurricane, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran green in the closing stages.

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a one minute delay to this race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined All Time Great (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Apache Outlaw, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was carried left at the one and a half furlong mark. Having reviewed the recording of the incident and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Run Ran Run, trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the final furlong.

147E Sky Bet Race To The Ebor H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Hell Bent, ridden by N. M. Crosse, unplaced, Almuhit, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed second, and Nusret (GB), ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed first, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N. M. Crosse stated that his race was run and his mount was tying up. J. A. Heffernan stated that things got tight but he did not have to stop riding and it did not effect him. M. P. Sheehy stated that the gap got a bit tight when he got into it but he felt he kept straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings and took no further action.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of White Caviar (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle todays going.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Almuhit, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ducked left at the one and a half furlong mark.

M.P. Sheehy, rider of Nusret (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room inside the furlong pole.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Sheishybrid, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was short of room inside the last furlong.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.A. Heffernan, rider of Almuhit, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was quick with several strikes but added that it was to prevent interference. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J. A. Heffernan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(i)(time to respond). Having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended J. A. Heffernan for five racedays.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Blue News (USA), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right from a furlong and a half out.

147G Win 50k Weekly With ITV7 For Free H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Adams Barbour, ridden by D. McMonagle, unplaced, Cnodian, ridden by Jessica Maye, unplaced, and Blanc De Noir, ridden by N. M. Crosse, placed first, where it appeared Cnodian ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. McMonagle stated that his race was run and he was going backwards when he received contact from his left. Jessica Maye stated that she was maintaining a straight line but received pressure from her left. N. M. Crosse stated that the horses in front were dropping back and both him and Jessica Maye were going for the same gap. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that N. M. Crosse was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended N. M. Crosse for one raceday. Mr. Noel C. McCarthy attended this enquiry in an observatory capacity.

D. McMonagle, rider of Adams Barbour, trained by Lee Smyth, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he took a precautionary check one furlong out.
