The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rebel Early, trained by W.J. Burke, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have a cut on its right fore pastern and also a cut on its right hind having been struck into.
P.T. Enright, rider of Rebel Early trained by W.J. Burke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
043B Clonmel H'cap S'chaseThe Stewards requested a report from Brian Mortell, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Three Loud Knocks, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Brian Mortell stated that he was very disappointed with his charges performance on its last run in Thurles and could not account for the poor performance. He added that the return to Clonmel today, a track where Three Loud Knocks had previously ran well, is what he attributed the apparent improvement in form to. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

043D Cloneen (Mares) H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lily Of Dromard, trained by Michael John O'Connor, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
043E Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined So Scottish (FR), trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard and showing signs of delayed recovery post race.
043F Rosegreen H'cap H'dleS.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Ask And Answer trained by Sean Aherne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was carried out by the loose horse.
