D. McMonagle, rider of Dirty Stopout (GB) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not handle the track.
252B Slievenamon M'dnThe Stewards requested a report from Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Timourid, placed First, as compared with its recent run under the Rules of Racing at Roscommon on the 31st May. Ms Meghan Donovan, Authorised representative for the trainer, reported that Timourid was having his first run for the yard at Roscommon and had a wind surgery since then. She added that Timourid was also wearing blinkers for the first time today since joining their yard and furthermore that the front running riding tactics in a low standard race may have brought about the improved performance. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.
David Peter Nagle, trainer of Yester, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that in his opinion his charge did not stay todays trip.
252C Racing Next On 30th September H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined El C Wells, trained by Patrick Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
James J. Doyle, rider of Izzys Charm trained by Peter McCreery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stood in the stalls when the gates opened.
D. McMonagle, rider of El C Wells trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left throughout this race.
J.A. Heffernan, rider of Smaoineamh Sile (GB) trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left in the closing stages.
The Stewards informed Peter McCreery, trainer of Izzys Charm, that the behaviour of his charge where she stood in the stalls and was slowly away having acted in a similar manner at Limerick on the 4th July may render her liable for a suspension if there is a similar recurrence of such behaviour in the future.
252D Clonmel H'capW.J. Lee, rider of Coill Na Sionainne trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount rubbed off a rail coming down the hill and hit a ridge about one furlong out.
G.F. Carroll, rider of Insignia Of Rank trained by Joseph G. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount weakened tamely when asked for an effort.
252E St. Patrick's Well H'capAt the request of the Stewards, R.P. Whelan, rider of Wakita, trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount took a big heave when going across the top and started to pull herself up. He further added that the striken horse interfered with his run down hill so he made the best of his way home from there.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Wakita, trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal.
252F Tipperary Perpetual Cup H'capM.A. Enright, rider of King Of Cashel trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right down the hill and in the straight.
