034B Derrygrath M'dn H'dleP. Townend, rider of Feu Du Bresil (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost his action and was pulled up.
M.J.M O'Sullivan, rider of Kitsilano, trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was flat out in the early part of the race.
K.C. Sexton, rider of Mustmeetthefarrier, trained by Cian Michael Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled during this race before being pulled up.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Kitsilano, ridden by M.J.M O'Sullivan, and trained by John Joseph Murphy. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. M.J.M O'Sullivan stated that he was told jump his mount off rear to mid division, get him jumping and try and get him to finish his race. He added that his mount was on his head early on due to the fast pace and stayed on past tired horses. George Murphy, Authorised representative to John Joseph Murphy, confirmed the instructions given and stated that he was happy with the ride. He also stated that he would appreciate a step up in trip. He further added that his charge travels badly when transported to race meetings. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that Kitsilano was post race normal but was blowing hard. Samples were taken for further analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, E. Walsh, rider of Black Field, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was running free down the hill on the first circuit when he stumbled.
034C Surehaul Mercedes-Benz Novice H'dleThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Hiddenvalley Lake, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed second, and Monty's Star, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, placed first, where it appeared that both horses appeared to come together and contact was made. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
034D1 Minorstown H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Getaway Train, trained by Donal Hassett, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have mucus at the nostrils post race.
034D2 Minorstown H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pharisees, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a small overreach to his right fore lateral heel bulb but was otherwise post race normal.
P.T. Enright, rider of Shean Glory, trained by Sean Aherne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got close to the running rail coming down the hill on the final circuit.
Thomas Cooper, trainer of Elusive Rebeldom, reported to the IHRB Veterinary Officer that his charge was found to have a marked amount of kickback and mud on an endoscopic examination post race.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Caoimhes Pet trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy was lame on her left fore post race.
034E Kilmolash (QR) H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lovely Reaction, trained by Thomas Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
Mr P.A. King, rider of Buzz Light, trained by Thomas Dowling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly and was pulled up.
034G Monksgrange Beginners S'chaseK.M. Donoghue, rider of Conna Cottage, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the first fence in the back straight and pulled up.
S.W. Flanagan, rider of Ciao Bella (FR), trained by Miss Elizabeth Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled during this race before being pulled up.
