033A Surehaul Race Day (Mares) M'dn H'dle
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pallas Athene, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
033B Derrygrath M'dn H'dleThe Raceday Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Heidi's Frontiere, trained by Michael G. Kennedy, for failing to present the horse for identification to an Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the last hurdle involving Undeniable Alibi (FR), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, placed first, and Whatsyourproblem, ridden by B. Hayes, placed second, where it appeared both horses came close together on landing. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
033E Kilmolash (QR) H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Whateys Quest, trained by C.Byrnes, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.
033F Grange Novice H'cap S'chaseThe Raceday Stewards interviewed M.P. O'Connor, rider of Itwasfate (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. M.P. O'Connor stated that it was a misjudgement on his behalf and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that M.P.O'Connor was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency)(first offence) and having taken his previous record into consideration, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for 1 raceday.
