The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mrs. T. O'Meara, that D.P. Maxwell, rider of Jinxs Link, had weighed in 1.6lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had no reason or explanation why he weighed in heavy. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found D. P. Maxwell in breach of rule 231(iii) and suspended him for one raceday.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, D.P. Maxwell, rider of Jinxs Link, trained by M.M. Rice, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very free .

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Shackleton Island trained by I.Madden was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bugscuffle, trained by Andrew McNamara, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
S. Fitzgerald, rider of Ardfert Mary, trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung violently left down the back.
J.P. Shinnick, rider of Shackleton Island, trained by I.Madden, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel .
135F Bank Of Ireland INH Flat RaceThe Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr A. Harvey, rider of Intense Approach (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Mr. A. Harvey in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) frequency and having taken his previous record into account they and suspended him for one raceday. .
