The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R.P. Treacy rode He Who Dares (reserve) trained by S. Curling (Race 2)
Ms. N. Burns rode Master Sydney (reserve) trained by Paul W. Flynn (Race 7)

078A Bowers Bar & Restaurant (M) M'dn H'dle

Sam Ewing, rider of Bearami Creek, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very green and failed to act on the ground.

078B Tim Kelly (C&G) M'dn H'dle

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Bobbysingindablues, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not travel well in the early stages.

D. Meyler, rider of Silent Guardian (GB), trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped the last hurdle on the first circuit awkwardly causing him to loose an iron which he recovered before the next.

078C McGrath Limestone Works H'cap H'dle

Prior to the start of this race the official going was changed to Good.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Glenashling, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be have lost a shoe and to be blowing hard post race.

078D BoyleSports (Mares) H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Innatendue (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rachel's Secret, trained by Declan Queally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have blood on the left nostril post race.

078F Lodge At Ashford Castle H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Stealthy Tom, trained by E. Bolger, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed A. McCurtin, rider of Tomas O Maille, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that A. McCurtin was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record they suspended him for two racedays.

P.K. Donovan, rider of Shotgun Jack, trained by Patrick G.Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
