Mr S.J.P. Baragry, rider of Carry On Buddy (GB) trained by Jeremiah Patrick Baragry, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran out after the last hurdle and was pulled up.

255B Sean Hughes Memorial M'dn H'dle

P.K. Donovan, rider of Miss Ohio trained by Charles J. Maguire, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a noise in running.

255C Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

J.B. Foley, rider of Princely Conn trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. The animal was subsequently examined by the I.H.R.B. Veterinary officer, at the request of the Stewards, who confirmed that the animal had blood at both nostrils post race.

P.K. Donovan, rider of Kitty Galore trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped very quickly.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kitty Galore, trained by John Patrick Ryan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Memories Remain, trained by John C. McConnell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards interviewed J.B. Foley, rider of The Holmeister, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his whip excessively and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that J.B. Foley was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(excessive frequency) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.

255E Midland Breeders Kilbeggan Beg. S'chase

S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Lovely Moon trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lugged right before the last.
