Mr J.J. Codd, rider of Ballyboker Bridge trained by Peter Maher, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount clipped heels early on and almost came down, never travelled thereafter and was subsequently pulled up.

028C1 Happy Birthday Sarah Ann Madden Mdn Hdle

A representative of Mrs John Harrington, trainer of Lifetime Ambition, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge scoped badly post race.

B.J. Foley, rider of Monvour trained by Damian Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran very keen.

028D David Trundley Artist H'cap H'dle

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Danse Away trained by T.J. Nagle Jr, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped very quickly.

T.J. Nagle Jr., trainer of Danse Away, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge scoped badly post race.

028G Happy Valentines Day (P-A) INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr. B.G. Crawford, rider of Another Scotch, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his whip with excessive frequency and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. B.G. Crawford was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record the suspended him for 2 racedays.
