The Directors of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board (IHRB), are pleased to announce the appointment of Niall Cronin as IHRB Communications Manager.
Niall, who joins the IHRB on a full-time basis with effect from 6th May 2019, has been working as Racing Correspondent for the Herald for the past 12 years. He has also been working as Interim IHRB Press Officer for the past 12 months.
Welcoming the appointment, IHRB Chief Executive Denis Egan said that he was “delighted that Niall has taken over the role on a full-time basis and that Niall will be pivotal to the development of the IHRB’s communications strategy in the future”.
Commenting on his appointment, Niall Cronin said that ““I am delighted to accept the new role of Communications Manager for the IHRB. I very much look forward to working with the Directors and Management of the IHRB in developing this new position. I have been very fortunate to work within the sport of horseracing for over 12 years and in this role I will use my experience to implement changes in how important information is shared more regularly and promptly with the public.”
