The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Given Wings, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing very hard post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dreamsrmadeofthis, trained by E. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Given Wings trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not handle todays going and stopped quickly.

320D Peter Nolan Bloodstock M'dn H'dle

The Stewards interviewed G.B. Noonan, rider of O Mio Babbino, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that G. B. Noonan was in breach of Regulation 10.3.b, the unnecessary hitting of a horse after its chance of winning or being placed is clearly gone. Having considered G. B. Noonan's record in this regard the Stewards suspended G. B. Noonan for one raceday.

Mr M. Chaybyn, rider of Oranmore trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped.
