At the request of the Stewards, S.D. Torrens, rider of Decadio Lady, trained by Oliver J.Power, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped novicey.

157A2 Loch Garman (Mares) Opp. M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Conquering Tara, trained by Michael G. Kennedy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal but possibly showing signs of being in season.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Darcys Hill, trained by Mrs Denise Foster, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.C. Gainford, rider of Darcys Hill trained by Mrs Denise Foster, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount found todays going too soft.

The Stewards interviewed Jamie Hayes, rider of Robin Scherbatsky, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Jamie Hayes was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered Jamie Hayes' record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

At the request of the Stewards, M.M. McDonagh, rider of Bodeenbelle, trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung off the home bend, jumped right and may appreciate a step up in trip and better ground.

157B Slaney River (Ladies) H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed Emma Twomey, rider of Accidental Rebel (GB), concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that she was in breach of the regulation and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Emma Twomey was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered Emma Twomey's record in this regard the Stewards cautioned her on this occasion.

The Stewards interviewed Miss P. Elvin, rider of Galon De Vauzelle (FR), concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that she was in breach of the regulation and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Miss. P. Elvin was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered Miss. P. Elvin's record in this regard the Stewards suspended Miss. P. Elvin for three racedays.

157D Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap S'chase

J.C. Gainford, rider of Smithscorner trained by Michael G. Kennedy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount found todays going too slow.

The Stewards interviewed C. Brassil, rider of Zarkareva (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that C. Brassil was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency and h, the use of the whip with the arm above shoulder height. Having considered C. Brassil's record in this regard the Stewards suspended C. Brassil for four racedays.

The Stewards enquired into an incident turning out of the back on the final circuit involving Great Khan, ridden by S. Fitzgerald, placed fifth, Steer Clear, ridden by A.P. Kelly, unplaced and Batcio (FR), ridden by S. O'Callaghan, placed first, where it appeared that Great Khan got tight for room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Fitzgerald stated that he was squeed up and had to check. A. P. Kelly stated that he thought he had more room and moved across. S. O.'Callaghan stated that he received interference from the horse on his outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that A. P. Kelly was in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered A. P. Kelly's record in this regard the Stewards suspended A. P. Kelly for three racedays.

157F Tuskar H'cap S'chase

P.K. Donovan, rider of Rudy Catrail trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount cocked his jaw and ran out.

A.P. Kelly, rider of Emir De Rots (FR) trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran too keenly.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Emir De Rots (FR), trained by Paul Nolan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

157G Hook Head (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Granny Lowrie, trained by Barry Connell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be distressed post race.
