The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sussex (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
At the request of the Stewards, J.A. Heffernan, rider of Sundial, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not travel during this race and did not finish.
At the request of the Stewards, W.M. Lordan, rider of Sussex (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount travelled to before the entrance to the straight and did not finish.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined My Holy Fox, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
C.T. Keane, rider of Amber Kite trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost her action in the back straight.
R.P. Cleary, rider of Loingseoir trained by M.C. Grassick, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right all the way up the home straight.
The Stewards received a report from Mr P. Deegan, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Nikita Amelia Kane, rider of Loingseoir, had presented herself at scales 3Ibs overweight having declared a possible 2Ibs at declaration time. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case and stated that she had made this weight on serval occasions this season. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Nikita Amelia Kane was in breach of Rule 195 and having considered her record, they issued a fine of €150 on this occasion. Furthermore, the Stewards granted permission for R.P. Cleary to replace the nominated rider at the request of the trainer's authorised representative using their powers under the provisions of Rule 196(iv).

G.M. Ryan, rider of Wrist Art trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got slightly short of room coming out of stalls.

S.M. Crosse, rider of Jon Riggens trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race.
W.J. Lee, rider of Moss Tucker trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped to the right and quick out of the starting stalls.
M.A. Gallagher, rider of Missemma trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was green out of the starting stalls.
The Stewards enquired into an incident in the area between the starting stalls and the marker poles involving Moss Tucker, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed first, Queens Carriage, ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed fifth, Shelly Banks, ridden by J. Coen, placed fourth and Missemma, ridden by M.A. Gallagher, unplaced, where it appeared that some horses failed to keep a straight course and this resulted in tight riding. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence J. Coen stated that he had received a bump and stumbled a stride later. L.T. McAteer stated that his mount jumped to the right out of the starting stalls. W.J. Lee stated that his mount was impeded by a faulty starting gate at the Curragh, a fact which he reported on the day. He felt that his mount remembered this incident and jumped to the right out of the starting stalls today and caught him off balance. M.A. Gallagher stated that his mount received a bump and got lit up. J. Coen gave his evidence in the presence of Eamonn O'Connell for whom he rode. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the riders comments and took no further action
