The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Stradbally Village, trained by Ms.M.Flynn, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.
At the request of the Stewards, Derek McGrath, rider of Stradbally Village, trained by Ms.M.Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was flat out in the early part of this race and jumped novicey.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Whose A Diva, trained by Andrew Slattery, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.
At the request of the Stewards, C.M. Quirke, rider of Whose A Diva, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he was instructed to drop his mount in behind to settle her but she was flat out the whole way.
T. Ryan, rider of Fidanka trained by W.J.Austin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very green during this race.
301B Join Tipperary Supp Club (C&G) M'dn H'dlThe Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr D. Maher, that Jamie Hayes, rider of Glanaree (FR), had presented himself at scales to weigh out at 2 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was returning from injury and was satisfied when he checked his weight at home but the racecourse scales showed a difference of 2 lbs. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Jamie Hayes was in breach of Rule 195(i) by failing to weigh out at the designated weight. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Jamie Hayes for two racedays under the provisions of Rule 198. Following a request from the trainer, the Stewards allowed Jamie Hayes to ride Glanaree (Fr).
C.A. Landers, rider of Thelonglad trained by Michael J. McDonagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not travel in the early part of this race but stayed on past tired horses in the latter stages of this race.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Stellar Symphony trained by Edmond Kent, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left from the back of the third last hurdle.
G.B. Noonan, rider of Silver Planeur (FR) trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise in running.
S. O'Callaghan, rider of Problem Solver trained by Augustine Leahy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got squeezed at the last bend.
At the request of the Stewards, Mr Alan O'Sullivan, rider of Citizen's Army, trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped a heel and fell with no blame attached to any other rider.
J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Blossom De Mai (FR) trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got hampered by the fallers on the home turn.
At the request of the Stewards, J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Blossom De Mai (FR), trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got hampered by the fallers on the home turn and for a few strides he was unsure of the soundness of the animal and eased for some strides.
S.D. Torrens, rider of First Earl trained by Michael Winters, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost his action and was pulled up.
S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Ned The Smith trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel during this race. The IHRB Veterinary Officer confirmed that this animal had blood at the nostrils post race.
At the request of the Stewards, K.C. Sexton, rider of Fainche, trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he thought that Citizen's Army had clipped a heel and fell which in turn brought down his own mount, but it all happened so quickly.
The Stewards requested a report from Augustine Leahy, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Problem Solver, placed first, as compared with its recent run at Killarney on the 14th July when last of fourteen finishers. Augustine Leahy reported that the race got away from his charge on good ground over two and a half miles at Killarney whereas today the animal was ridden handy in a steadier run race over three miles with his best work being done at the finish. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.
The Stewards reviewed an incident on the final bend involving Citizen's Army, ridden by Mr Alan O'Sullivan, and Fainche, ridden by K.C. Sexton where it appeared that Citizen's Army fell and brought down Fainche. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
M.P. O'Connor, rider of Knockraha Boss trained by Richard Anthony Foley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was pulled up injured in running.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Knockraha Boss, trained by Richard Anthony Foley, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on his left fore post race.
