The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fan Fan La Tulipe (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
169B Junction H'cap H'dleThe Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter,Mr. P.L. Malone, that C.J. Orr, rider of An Fraoch Mor, B. Hayes, rider of Blackstair Rocco, M.P. Walsh, rider of Tesseract, P.T. Enright, rider of Sean Says, J.S. McGarvey, rider of Bolbec (FR), B.J. Cooper, rider of Elite Trooper Grey, R.P. Treacy, rider of New Ross, J.M. Moore, rider of Harvest Bow, T. Joseph Kelly, rider of Rebel Waltz, D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of The White Volcano, K.J. Brouder, rider of Veneziano Springs (FR), D.E. Mullins, rider of Smitty Bacall and M.M. McDonagh, rider of Oneknightmoreihope had all failed to comply with his instructions, which resulted in a false start to this race. He was of the view that S.W. Flanagan, rider of Charlie Siringo had obeyed his instructions. Evidence was heard from all riders concerned. C.J. Orr accepted that he had disobeyed the starters instructions. B. Hayes was of the opinion that starting on a bend was a contributing factor. M.P. Walsh stated that his mount was only jigging forward. P.T. Enright stated that nobody charged the start. J.S. McGarvey stated that he was on the inside and was only jig jogging. B.J. Cooper stated that his mount was wearing blinkers and he was trying to obey the starter. R.P. Treacy stated that nobody forced the start. T. Joseph. Kelly stated that he was on the second line and did nothing wrong. S.W. Flanagan stated that he immediately obeyed the starters instructions. D.J. O'Keeffe stated that the horses were warm which made control difficult. K.J. Brouder stated that his mount was warm and he did his best to obey the starter. D.E. Mullins stated that he lined up and obeyed the starter at all times. M.M. McDonagh stated that he was on the second row and felt he had obeyed the starter. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that all riders with the exception of S.W. Flanagan were in breach of Rule 208(v)(b)in that they had failed to comply with the starters instructions. Having taken each riders respective records in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned C.J. Orr, M.P. Walsh, P.T. Enright, J.S. McGarvey, B.J. Cooper, R.P. Treacy, T. Joseph. Kelly, D.J. O'Keeffe and M.M. McDonagh on this occasion. The Stewards suspended B. Hayes, D.E. Mullins and J.M. Moore for 1 raceday and suspended K.J. Brouder for 2 racedays.
C.J. Orr, rider of An Fraoch Mor trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.
P.T. Enright, rider of Sean Says trained by Rodger Sweeney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

169E Ballykisteen H'dleThe Stewards enquired into riding of P.E. Corbett, rider of Cromwell Point, where it appeared Cromwel Point jumped a hurdle on the way to the start. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his horse was quiet headstrong and he was unable to pull him up on the approach to the hurdle. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that P.E. Corbett was in breach of Rule 205 (ii). Having considered the riders record in this regard, the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.
169F Follow @tipperaryraces.ie H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Nasee (GB), trained by John Joseph Hanlon, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be distressed post race.
The Stewards interviewed S. Fitzgerald, rider of Not So Simple, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that S. Fitzgerald was in breach of both Regulation 10.3(g)(excessive frequency) and 10.3(i)(time to respond). Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended S. Fitzgerald for 1 raceday.
