The Stewards met to consider a report from Ms Nicola O'Connor, IHRB Veterinary Officer that the vaccinations contained in the passport of Party Season (USA), trained by A.P. O'Brien were incorrect. She explained that the e-scanner had showed the error but the vaccinations had been passed by the IHRB internal system both today and on the previous date that the animal had run at Leopardstown, the 20th August. The error at Leopardstown should have been noted from the e-scanner. Patrick Keating, Authorised representative of A.P. O'Brien, also gave evidence and felt that any error should have been noted and reported to the trainers office for correction, this being a new system in place which had been implemented by the IHRB. He accepted that the vaccinations contained in the passport of Party Season (USA) were incorrect. Having considered all the evidence, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Party Season (USA) under Rule 91 and referred the matter to the CEO of the IHRB for further investigation.

The Stewards requested a report from D. K. Weld, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Magic Chegaga, placed first, as compared with its recent run at Tramore 15th August when finishing eighth of nine runners.
