043C ThurlesRaces.ie M'dn H'dle

M.J. Bolger, rider of Enniskerry, trained by Barry Connell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped very quickly.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Enniskerry, trained by Barry Connell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.

043D Killinan H'cap H'dle

B. Hayes, rider of Coole Arcade trained by John O. Clifford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled on the ground.

T. Ryan, rider of Krickett trained by W.J.Austin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Krickett, trained by W.J.Austin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.

P.T. Enright, rider of Balkos (FR), trained by Donal Hassett, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped a heel coming down the hill on the first circuit.

The Stewards interviewed Conor Clarke, rider of De Bennette, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he used his whip when out of contention. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(b)(chance clearly gone) and cautioned the rider on this occasion.

The Stewards imposed a fine of €200 on H. Morgan, rider of Galon De Vauzelle (Fr), under Rule 196(v) for failing to present himself to be weighed out for this race (reported trainsport difficulties) and granted permission for C.J. Orr to substitute.

043G Ballagh INH Flat Race

At the request of the Stewards, Mr T. Feeney, rider of Belle Lurette (FR), trained by W.J. Burke, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung a bit up the straight and felt he was holding onto nothing in the straight.
