The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Anthony John Black, trainer of N'arrete Jamais (Transport Difficulties) - €200

277A Boyle M'dn H'dle

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Joe The Crow, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

The Stewards fined Anthony Mullins, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Party Playboy (GER), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Party Playboy (GER) in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (iv).

R.A. Doyle, rider of Dragon Phoenix trained by Conor O'Dwyer, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the third last.

The Stewards requested a report from Paul Stafford, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Stander, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that this horse was quite green on his previous runs but had been extensively schooled at home since. Today in a slight change of tactics he was ridden more prominently amongst horses which seemed to bring about an improvement. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

277C Service Matters H'cap H'dle

The Stewards fined J.A. Nash, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Comehere Hi, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Comehere Hi in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (iv).

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Trenchtown Rock, trained by V. T. O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have sustained a cut to its left fore leg.

P. Townend, rider of Sympa Des Flos (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

277H Thanks For Supp. Roscommon INH Flat Race

Mr J.C. Barry, rider of Scarlet Revera trained by J.F. O'Shea, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right.
