The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

L.F. Roche rode El Padre (USA) (reserve) , trained by Adrian Murray (Race 1)
L. McAteer rode Next In Line (reserve) , trained by James M. Barrett (Race 3)
P.B. Beggy rode Na Caith Tobac (HOL) (reserve) , trained by Paul W. Flynn (Race 4)
C.D. Maxwell rode Dazzling Darren (reserve) , trained by Gavin Cromwell (Race 5)
W.J. Lee rode Alexei Vronsky (reserve) , trained by M.D. O'Callaghan (Race 5)
R.C. Colgan rode Turf Range (reserve) , trained by D.Broad (Race 6)

111A Roscommon M'dn

The Stewards enquired into possible interference 2 furlongs from the finish and further interference in the closing stages of this race involving Blue Wood, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed fourth, Mudlahhim, ridden by S.T. McCullagh, faller, Strongbowe (FR), ridden by W.J. Lee, placed first, Dedillon, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed third, Howdoyathinkifeel, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed sixth and Silk Air, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, faller, where it appeared that Mudlahhim got tight for room and thereafter appeared to clip heels and fall on the flat causing Silk Air also to fall. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings, however, were satisfied that W.J. Lee was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his previous record in this regard suspended him for 2 racedays.

111C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

S. Foley, rider of Flor De La Luna (GB) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount felt lame behind after leaving stalls and pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Flor De La Luna (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on her left hind leg post race.

111D Irish Stall Farms EBF Med Auct (C&G) Mdn

The Stewards interviewed G.F. Carroll, rider of Indicative Vote, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that G.F. Carroll was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g) in that he used his whip with excessive frequency, and having considered his record in this regard suspended him for 1 raceday.

111E Global Rossie Day On 21st June H'cap

The Stewards enquired into the fall of Jeff Kidder, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, after rounding the bend into the back straight. J.M. Sheridan reported that his mount slipped independently after rounding the bend into the back straight. C. Timmons, rider of Jazelle, reported that his mount lost her footing on the ground at the bend turning into the back straight. S. Foley, rider of Adamaris, reported that his mount caught a heel and stumbled while crossing the road at the top of the track. Having considered the evidence and viewed a recording of the race, the Stewards were satisfied that the fall of Jeff Kidder was accidental in nature and they therefore took no further action.

The Stewards interviewed C.D. Maxwell, rider of Dazzling Darren, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that C.D Maxwell was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g) in that he used his whip with excessive frequency, and having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended him for 1 Raceday.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Nudge The Judge trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount slipped on the far bend leaving the back straight.

111F(i) Ivan Connaughton Auctioneers H'cap (Division One)

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Lyrical Attraction, ridden by O.J. Orr, placed second and Tashman, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed first, where it appeared that both horses got close. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

G.F. Carroll, rider of Tashman trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned a bit left going up the straight.

111F(ii) Ivan Connaughton Auctioneers H'cap (Division Two)

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Kalanoura trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount slipped and got unbalanced rounding the first bend.

K.J. Manning, rider of Vocal Queen trained by Brendan W.Duke, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its footing on the first bend.
