L. T. McAteer replaced B.P. Kennedy on Aurora Moon, trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman (Race 2)(Rider administration error).
D. E. Sheehy rode Lady Scathach (reserve), trained by T.G.McCourt (Race 2).
W. J. Lee replaced L.F. Roche on I Am Thunder, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan (Race 4)(Rider administration error).

143C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

S. Foley, rider of Allez Allez Allez trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got very unbalanced in the closing stages.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Allez Allez Allez, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

143E Gormanlough Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards interviewed Vanessa Maye, rider of Glow Worm, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards accepted that Miss. Maye's final strike with the whip was for corrective purposes and they therefore did not find her in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g) and they took no further action. Mr. Peter Reynolds absented himself from this enquiry.

The Stewards interviewed L.T. McAteer, rider of Lady Alcazar, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found L.T McAteer in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g) excessive frequency. Having considered L. T. McAteer's record in this regard and pursuant to Regulation 10.6 (a) the Stewards suspended L. T. McAteer for seven racedays.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Quick Quick trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away.

143F Bohermeen H'cap

G.M. Ryan, rider of Mokhalad (GB) trained by Damian Joseph English, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered leaving the stalls.

W.J. Lee, rider of Master Matt (GB) trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped left from the stalls.

143G Rathkenny H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from Patrick Martin, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Pretty Smart, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Patrick Martin stated that his charge did not handle the track on it's previous run at Sligo and furthermore she ran too freely with her head very high. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.
