117A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Med Auct. M'dn

R.C. Colgan, rider of Encantador (GB) trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost a front shoe in running.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Encantador (GB), trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, at the request of the Stewards and confirmed that the animal had lost a front right shoe.

117C Meridian Security H'cap

The Stewards informed M.C. Grassick, trainer that Verhoyen (GB), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Verhoyen (GB) trained by M.C. Grassick, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

117D Mathews Agri H'cap

R.P. Whelan, rider of Mister Trader (GB) trained by D.J. Bunyan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stumbled leaving the stalls.

117F Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

The Stewards interviewed W.J. Lee, rider of Bianca Minola (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found W.J. Lee in breach of Regulation 10.3 (f) in that he used his whip with excessive frequency. Having considered his previous record in this regard, the Stewards suspended W.J. Lee for 1 raceday.
