The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Edward Lynam, trainer of Teddy Boy (Declared in error) - €200
G.M.Lyons, trainer of Yaxeni (FR) (Going) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C. T. Keane replaced G.F. Carroll on Auxilia, trained by G.M.Lyons (Race 6)(Stewards permission).

107A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

T.P. Madden, rider of Giuliana (GER) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right and crossed heels in the final furlong.

The Stewards enquired into an incident approximately two furlongs out involving No Speak Alexander, ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, Snowfall (JPN), ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed third and Sola Luna, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, unplaced, where it appeared that Sola Luna ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference caused was accidental in nature and they therefore took no further action.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Giuliana (GER), ridden by T.P. Madden, unplaced and Mooneista, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed fifth, where it appeared that Giuliana ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found R. P. Whelan in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered R. P. Whelan's record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

107B2 Navan H'cap

D.E. Sheehy, rider of Iseebreeze trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left from the dip.

The Stewards interviewed G.M. Ryan, rider of Ticks The Boxes, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found G. M. Ryan in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g) excessive frequency. Having considered G. M. Ryan's record in this regard the Stewards suspended G. M. Ryan for one raceday.

107D Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

At the request of the Stewards, J.A. Heffernan, rider of Eden Quay, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got very unbalanced and did not finish out her race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Eden Quay, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have speedy cuts on both hind legs.

107F Heritage Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Breaking Story trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery was found to have blood at both nostrils, possibly as a result of trauma.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Breaking Story trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mount Everest, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

107G Proudstown H'cap

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Pepperoni Pete trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was unlucky in running and got no run.
